\nOn April 22, 2025, on Bright Tuesday, a significant event took place in the Holy Trinity Cathedral in Surgut: the ordination of Deacon Stefan Bingkal, a student of the St. Petersburg Theological Academy, to the priesthood.
\nThe ordination was performed by Metropolitan Pavel of Khanty-Mansiysk and Surgut, Administrator of the Philippines-Vietnam Diocese.
\nFather Stefan, who arrived in Russia from the Republic of the Philippines to study, was ordained to the priesthood on Bright Week, which became a special sign of God’s Providence.
