\nFrom May 19 to 25, the Philippines-Vietnam Diocese is holding a camp for Orthodox youth. The event brings together young people and teenagers from different parts of the island of Mindanao.
\nThe children will participate in church services, study the basics of the Orthodox faith, and will be able to ask priests questions. In addition, they will have active games, sports competitions, hikes, and contests.
\nOn May 19, some of the participants gathered at the parish of the Resurrection of Christ in General Santos.
\nThe secretary of the diocese, Hieromonk Korniliy (Molev), priest Juventinus Bulaque\u00f1a, and priest Matthew Sale, co-served by Deacon Dimitri Cahilig, performed a prayer service to St. Nicholas the Wonderworker before the start of the camp.
\nThe service was preceded by a rehearsal of the youth choir. After the prayer, pectoral crosses were distributed to those of the children who needed them.
\nAfter a shared meal, the participants headed to the city of Salasang, where the camp will be held in the building of a comprehensive school.
