\nIn the mountain village of Magulo, the construction of the temple in the name of the prophet of God Elijah continues.
\nOn May 21, the secretary of the Philippine-Vietnamese diocese, Hieromonk Korniliy (Molev), visited the construction site and gave instructions on further work.
\nAt the moment, the installation of the rafter system has begun. The diocese expresses gratitude to the Christian Book Charity Foundation and all donors.
\nThe population of Magulo consists mainly of the Bla-an tribe. The first Orthodox missionaries visited the residents in 2015. At the same time, the local leader, who later accepted baptism with the name John, donated a plot of land for the construction of the temple.
\nFor a long time, believers prayed in a temporary bamboo structure, which had become very dilapidated.
