alt=\"\" \/><\/a>\r\n\t\t\t<\/div><\/figure><\/div>\n\n<p>From July 22 to 25, Metropolitan Pavel of Manila and Hanoi, Administrator of the Diocese of the Philippines and Vietnam, conducted an archpastoral visit to the Philippines, visiting parishes in various provinces of the Republic.<\/p>\n<p>On July 22, the Administrator of the Diocese of the Philippines and Vietnam arrived in Manila, the capital of the Republic of the Philippines.<\/p>\n<p>At Ninoy Aquino International Airport, Metropolitan Pavel was met by Hieromonk Cornelius (Molev), Secretary of the Diocese of the Philippines and Vietnam.<\/p>\n<p>On July 23, Metropolitan Paul celebrated a prayer service at the Church of the Apostle Thomas, currently under construction, in the village of Kinabalan on the island of Mindanao.<\/p>\n<p>Construction of the Church of the Apostle Thomas is nearing completion; roofing work has been completed, and the dome has been installed. Interior decoration of the utility and living quarters, where the church&#8217;s clergyman and his family already reside, continues.<\/p>\n<p>On July 24, Metropolitan Pavel celebrated the Divine Liturgy at the Church of the Resurrection of Christ in General Santos, Mindanao.<\/p>\n<p>At the Little Entrance, by decree of His Holiness Patriarch Kirill of Moscow and All Rus&#8217;, Hieromonk Korniliy (Molev), Secretary of the Philippine-Vietnamese Diocese, was awarded the right to wear a palitsa for his zealous service to the Holy Church.<\/p>\n<p>During the Liturgy, Metropolitan Pavel ordained Reader Elijah Aleria to the rank of deacon.<\/p>\n<p>All participants in the service were presented with icons depicting the Resurrection of Christ and prayer books in Cebuano.<\/p>\n<p>On July 25, the day his archpastoral visit concluded, Metropolitan Pavel celebrated Divine Liturgy at the Church of the Iveron Icon of the Mother of God in Manila, the capital of the Philippines.<\/p>\n<p>On the evening of July 25, Metropolitan Pavel of Manila and Hanoi was seen off at the Manila airport by Marat Ignatyevich Pavlov, Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the Russian Federation to the Republic of the Philippines.<\/p>\n<p>Accompanying Metropolitan Pavel during his archpastoral visit were Hegumen Anthony (Kirpichev), Secretary of the Khanty-Mansiysk Diocese; Priest Anthony Dolgushin, Chairman of the Department for Church-Society and Media Relations of the Khanty-Mansiysk Diocese; Protodeacon Daniil Matveyev, cleric of the Resurrection Cathedral in Khanty-Mansiysk; and Vsevolod Malinovkin, Metropolitan Pavel&#8217;s senior subdeacon.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>From July 22 to 25, Metropolitan Pavel of Manila and Hanoi, Administrator of the Diocese of the Philippines and Vietnam, conducted an archpastoral visit to the Philippines, visiting parishes in various provinces of the Republic.
