September 27 marks the 30th anniversary of the priestly ordination of Metropolitan Pavel of Manila and Hanoi, Administrator of the Philippine-Vietnamese Diocese.<\/p>\n

Three decades ago, on the Feast of the Exaltation of the Holy Cross, he received the grace of priestly ministry at the Epiphany-Anastasia Cathedral in Kostroma, setting out to be a zealous laborer in Christ\u2019s Vineyard. That day marked the beginning of his path of pastoral service\u2014a journey filled with care for human souls, prayer, and self-sacrifice.<\/p>\n

Throughout his years of service, Metropolitan Pavel has advanced from priest to hierarch; today, holding the rank of Metropolitan, he continues his ministry both in the northern region of Yugra and beyond the borders of the Fatherland\u2014in the Philippines and Vietnam. His labors include the construction of churches, the strengthening of faith, and the care of his flock, as well as the spiritual guidance of clergy and monastics. His words and example serve as an inspiration to many.<\/p>\n

We offer our heartfelt congratulations to Metropolitan Pavel on this significant anniversary. We pray that the Lord grants him abundant spiritual and physical strength, divine aid, and success in his continued labors for the good of the Holy Church. May the Lord strengthen him in his ministry and bestow upon him wisdom, patience, and joy in the Lord.<\/p>\n
