Concelebrating with him were the parish rector, Priest Stefan Bingkal, and diocesan clergy: Priests Ioakim Gonzales, Ioann Mahinay, and Dimitriy Cahilig.<\/p>\n<p>The parish choir, directed by Emilia Bingkal\u2014a graduate of the the-choir-director program at the Voronezh Theological Seminary\u2014sang during the divine service.<\/p>\n<p>Following the Liturgy, a religious procession took place, moving toward the site of the former temporary church.<\/p>\n<p>Hieromonk Korniliy congratulated the faithful on the patronal feast and delivered a sermon, noting that the construction of the church is nearing completion:<\/p>\n<p>&#8220;It is a joy to pray now that the scaffolding has been removed. The work on the tent-roof, the cupola, and the main roofing is finished. Through the prayers of the Holy Apostle Thomas, preparations for the consecration of the church will begin in the near future.&#8221; The priest further emphasized: &#8220;The Apostle Thomas is one of the greatest saints. The Lord grants different gifts to different saints\u2014much like in the Gospel parable (Luke 19:17), where one is entrusted with the governance of five cities, and another with ten.&#8221; As for the Apostle Thomas, he was surely granted more than ten\u2014for he serves as a patron to Orthodox Christians not only in various cities, but across entire countries. Let us, therefore, learn from him humility, repentance, and the acceptance of God\u2019s will\u2014even to the point of being ready, as the holy Apostle was, to leave behind everything familiar and set off for a distant, foreign land.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>The celebration concluded with a communal meal, to which everyone present was invited.<\/p>\n<p>The evening before, the sacrament of Baptism also took place.
