{"id":538,"date":"2020-02-23T12:56:59","date_gmt":"2020-02-23T12:56:59","guid":{"rendered":"\/ru\/?p=538"},"modified":"2020-02-26T10:32:38","modified_gmt":"2020-02-26T10:32:38","slug":"mitropolit-manilskij-i-hanojskij-pa-8","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/phvieparchy.org\/en\/archpastoral-ministry\/mitropolit-manilskij-i-hanojskij-pa-8\/","title":{"rendered":"Metropolitan Pavel of Manila and Hanoi celebrated the divine Liturgy in the Church of the Iveron icon of the mother of God in Manila"},"content":{"rendered":"\n<p>On\nFebruary 23, 2020, Metropolitan Pavel of Manila and Hanoi, the Administrator of\nThe Philippine-Vietnamese diocese, celebrated the divine Liturgy at the parish\nin honor of the Iveron icon of the mother of God in Manila.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>With\nHis Eminence served&nbsp; hieromonk Cornelius\n(Molev), Secretary of The Philippine-Vietnamese diocese, and hieromonk Alexei\n(Lapshin), priest of this church.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>At\nthe end of the Service, Metropolitan Pavel read a message from the Exarch of\nSouth-East Asia, his Eminence Sergiy, Metropolitan of Singapore and South-East\nAsia:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>To\nthe most Reverend bishops and clergy, monastic and God-loving congregation of\nthe Patriarchal Exarchate of South-East Asia<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>&#8220;Beloved\nof the Lord!<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Heartfelt\nfeelings and pastoral responsibility encourage me to turn to you, my dear.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>A\ndeadly disease is affecting more and more people, in another test, let by God\non Earth. The peoples of the countries of canonical responsibility of the\nPatriarchal Exarchate of South-East Asia are particularly affected.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Over\nthe centuries, humanity has repeatedly faced similar suffering. The Church has\nalways been with its people, courageously sharing their sorrows, helping them\novercome difficult trials, and pleading with our Lord and Savior for help in\nending epidemics as soon as possible.
