On October 7, the Secretary of the Philippine-Vietnamese Diocese, Hieromonk Korniliy (Molev), visited the Nizhnevartovsk Orthodox Gymnasium in honor of the Kazan Icon of the Mother of God. Hieromonk Korniliy led the gymnasium prayer service before the start of the school day. At the end of the prayer service, he addressed the students with a word of edification. Also, the gymnasium hosted a lecture by Hieromonk Korniliy on the topic: “Orthodoxy in the Philippines: History and Modernity.” After meeting with the students, the director of the gymnasium, Priest Konstantin Glukharev, conducted a tour of the gymnasium.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
