With the blessing of Metropolitan Pavel of Manila and Hanoi, and with the support of the Chinese Patriarchal Metochion in Moscow, O. V. Voskresensky—who holds a PhD in Pedagogy and a Master’s degree in Theology—has arrived in Vietnam to deliver a series of lectures.
On October 21 and 22, the first sessions, titled “Rational Foundations of the Christian Faith,” took place at the cultural center of the “Russian neighborhood” in Vung Tau, as well as at the Parish of the Intercession of the Most Holy Theotokos in Ho Chi Minh City.
Attendees noted the relevance of the topic to the Vietnamese context and posed a wide range of questions.
Further lectures are scheduled to take place soon in Hanoi and Nha Trang.
