Metropolitan of Manila and Hanoi Pavel, who was on a working visit to the island of Mindanao, Republic of the Philippines, met with the mayor of Davao City, Mindanao Island, Ms. Sara Duterte-Carpio.
During the conversation, the parties discussed various issues of cooperation in the development of church life in the parishes of the Philippine-Vietnamese diocese located on the island of Mindanao.
The meeting was also attended by Ambassador Extraordinary and Minister Plenipotentiary of the Russian Federation to the Republic of the Philippines Igor Anatolyevich Hovaev. Also, the Metropolitan of Manila and Hanoi Pavel held a working meeting with the City Consul Pilar Braga.
