On October 7, the Secretary of the Philippine-Vietnamese diocese, Orthodox missionary Hieromonk Korniliy (Molev) met with students of the Humanities Department of Nizhnevartovsk State University. The priest spoke about the peculiarities of the worldview and cultural traditions of the population of Southeast Asia, as well as the basic principles of the organization and activities of the mission of the Russian Orthodox Church in this region. The professors of the University spoke about existing scientific university projects on the history of the church in Siberia, and presented the latest published monographs and books as souvenirs of the visit to the first higher educational institution of Yugra.
