From November 18 to 28, Metropolitan Pavel of Manila and Hanoi, Administrator of the Diocese of the Philippines and Vietnam, visited the Republic of the Philippines.
On November 19, Metropolitan Pavel celebrated a prayer service at the Church of the Nativity of Christ in Tagaytay City. The following day, he celebrated a thanksgiving service at the same church on the occasion of the birthday of His Holiness Kirill, Patriarch of Moscow and All Rus’.
On November 21, Metropolitan Pavel participated in a conciliar service of the bishops of the Exarchate at the Church of the Nativity of Christ in Tagaytay City. That same day, Metropolitan Pavel participated in a meeting of the Synod of the Patriarchal Exarchate of Southeast Asia chaired by Metropolitan Sergius of Singapore and Southeast Asia, Patriarchal Exarch of Southeast Asia.
On November 23, on the island of Panglao Metropolitan Pavel assisted at the Great Consecration of the Church of the Icon of the Mother of God “Quick to Hear.”
On November 26, Metropolitan Pavel celebrated the Divine Liturgy at the Church of the Nativity of the Mother of God in the village of Arakan. That same day, the bishop presided over the Diocesan Assembly of the Clergy of the Diocese of the Philippines and Vietnam.
On November 27, Metropolitan Pavel visited the church under construction in the village of Kinabalan and served a prayer service there. That same day, the bishop served a prayer service at the Parish of the Holy Righteous Matrona of Moscow in Davao City.
