On November 23, 2024, in the capital of the Philippines, Manila, a meeting was held between Metropolitan Pavel of Khanty-Mansiysk and Surgut, Administrator of the Philippine-Vietnamese Diocese, and Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the Russian Federation to the Republic of the Philippines Marat Ignatyevich Pavlov. The meeting was attended by: Secretary of the Philippine-Vietnamese Diocese Hieromonk Korniliy (Molev), Chairman of the Department for Church Relations with Society and the Media of the Khanty-Mansiysk Diocese Priest Anthony Dolgushin. During the meeting, the parties discussed various issues of interaction between the Russian diplomatic mission and the Philippine-Vietnamese Diocese.
