2nd Sunday if Lent in Ho Chi Minh

On March 8, the Second Sunday of Great Lent, the feast day of St. Gregory Palamas, Priest Stanislav Rasputin, rector of the parish, celebrated the Divine Liturgy at the Intercession of the Holy Virgin Parish in Ho Chi Minh City, Vietnam.
Also on this day, two people underwent the rite of catechumenate, so that after thorough preparation they could receive the sacrament of baptism.
The catechumens were given the names Irenaeus, in honor of the Hieromartyr Irenaeus of Lyons, and Gregory, in honor of St. Gregory Palamas.
