On May 2, five people entered the Church of Christ at the Intercession of the Holy Virgin Parish in Polomolok, Mindanao, Philippines.
Priest Roman Buniel, the parish rector, performed the sacrament of baptism on three local residents. Two more were baptized into the Orthodox Church.
The day before, in Daet (350 km south of Manila), four people were also baptized at the mission overseen by Archimandrite Philemon (Castro).
