On May 6, the feast day of the Holy Great Martyr George the Victorious, Mid-Pentecost, the patronal feast was celebrated at St. George’s Parish in Lake Sebu, Mindanao. Priests Roman Buniel and Kirill Buniel led the solemn service.

Divine Liturgy on the 4th Sunday of Pascha in Tagaytay, Nativity of Christ parish
Every week, volunteers from the diocesan Department of Charity and Social Services organize charity lunches for children from poor families living in the Tagaytay area. The meals include porridge fortified with vitamins and minerals.
Last week, two girls were baptized at the Intercession Parish in Ho Chi Minh City and the Kazan Parish in Vung Tau, Vietnam. The newly baptized children were named Stefania and Marina. The baptisms were performed by Priest Stanislav Rasputin, rector of the parishes.
On May 2, Hieromonk John (Gondayao) celebrated the Divine Liturgy in Pangasinan in memory of Blessed Matrona of Moscow. Following the service, a meal and a catechism lesson were held.
