On May 28, Hieromonk Korniliy (Molev), Secretary of the Philippine-Vietnamese Diocese, and Hieromonk John (Gondayao), a cleric of the Church of the Iveron Icon of the Mother of God in Manila, visited the province of Camarines del Norte on the island of Luzon, Philippines.
There, the priests met with the local community, whose members had submitted a petition to Metropolitan Pavel of Manila and Hanoi for acceptance into the Russian Orthodox Church.
During the conversation, steps were outlined for the catechesis and development of the community.
