The Department of Charity and Social Ministry of the Diocese of the Philippines and Vietnam held its second Christmas season program for children. The program was rich and inspiring: from opening prayers to caroling, Christmas stories, children’s performances and contests, games, gifts, a hot lunch, and celebrations that filled our hearts with love… Thank you to everyone who came (100 children, several mothers and fathers), and to those who helped organize this event! Thank you for His mercy and love!
This week, other programs are planned for elderly people, families in need, and service providers—police, rescue workers, firefighters, etc. And on December 25th, we will count the good deeds for those who must work—we will hand out bags of groceries for a festive meal. All of this culminates in a grand Christmas celebration on January 6-7!
