The 23rd of October The liturgy practice of new priests of Mindanao island, Priest Moses Kakhilig and Priest Roman Buniel, was started in the Matrona of Moscow study center in Davao city. To help organize daily services and classes a clergyman of the Khanty-Mansiysk diocese, Priest Evgeny Chebykin, arrived in Davao. Fathers Moses and Roman at the end of September were ordained in Russia as priesthood by Metropolitan of Manila and Hanoi Pavel. After a short practice in Khanty-Mansiysk, they returned to the Philippines and now they will continue their study here.

On Week 18 at Pentecost, Metropolitan of Manila and Hanoi Pavel celebrated the Divine Liturgy in the church of St. Matrona of Moscow in Davao city.
His Eminence was accompanied by: Priest Sergius Nagorny, Head of the Office of the Khanty-Mansiysk Diocese; clergyman of the church of st. Matrona of Moscow in Davao city, Hieromonk Cornelius (Molev), clergyman of the Khanty-Mansiysk diocese priest Evgeny Chebykin, clergyman of the Khanty-Mansiysk diocese deacon Anthony Dolgushin.
At the end of the service, Metropolitan Pavel addressed the audience:
«Dear fathers, brothers and sisters! Let me from the heart to congratulate you on the holiday of the Resurrection of Our Lord Jesus Christ!
Today we heard in the apostolic reading: “It is good the brethren to be together.” These words confirm that we have one Lord, we are one family, God has no ethnic difference, there is no Hellenic, Jew, Russian or Filipino – we are all His children, and He is our Father. Our task is to treat each other as an image and likeness of God. And in order to become like the image of God, and this is one of the main tasks of the Christian life, it is important not only to do good deeds and be exemplary in life, but it is very important to realize and see with our spiritual eyes our own sins. I am very happy to be with you today, performing the Divine Liturgy, the most important part of the Divine Services, when we were united in Christ, from the one body and blood of Christ. Let us be united in prayer, in deeds and in thoughts, and God grant that the Lord give us strength in carrying our earthly cross. I want to ask for your prayers, I’ll have a long journey ahead: first to Manila, then through China again to Russia, and after some time I will come back here again. We know that prayer does not know the distance, I wish everyone the help of God, I thank everyone again for common prayers, God bless everyone!»

Metropolitan of Manila and Hanoi Pavel celebrated the Divine Liturgy on the feast day of the church in of St. Apostle Thomas in Kinabalan, Mindanao island.
His Eminence was consecrated: the rector of the church of St. John of Shanghai, Santa Maria Priest Siluan Thompson, Head of the Office of the Khanty-Mansiysk Diocese Priest Sergius Nagorny; clergyman of the church of the Resurrection of Christ, General Santos hieromonk Vincent (Romanyuk), clergyman of the church of St. Matrona of Moscow in Davao city, Hieromonk Cornelius (Molev), clergyman of the church Matrons of Moscow, Priest Joakim Gonzales,, Priest Moses Cahilig, Priest Roman Buniel, clergyman of the Khanty-Mansi diocese, Deacon Anthony Dolgushin. The archpastor also performed the Sacrament of Baptism for the inhabitants of Kinabalan. After visiting the parishe of the Holy Epiphany in Talas, Metropolitan of Manila and Hanoi Pavel held a meeting of the clergy of the island of Mindanao.

Metropolitan of Manila and Hanoi Pavel visited the parishes of the southern group on the island of Mindanao, Republic of the Philippines.
The archpastor served a moleben at the parish of St. Nicholas of Myra in Kaiupo, and at the parish of St. John of Shanghaiin Kiamba, after which he talked with representatives of the community and presented everyone with souvenirs. Also Vladyka Pavel visited the unfinished temple in Maitum.
Metropolitan Pavel visited the parishes of northern and central parts of the island of Mindanao.
| The 17th of October 2019 On the second day of the stay of Metropolitan Pavel of Manila and Hanoi on the island of Mindanao, Republic of the Philippines, was dedicated to visiting the parishes of the northern and central groups. Vladyka visited the parish of St. App Peter and Pavel in Salasang, the parish of the Nativity of the Blessed Virgin Mary in Arakan and the parish of St. Seraphim of Sarov in Makalangot. In the central group of the parishes, Metropolitan Pavel visited the community of St. John of Shanghai in the village of Santa Maria, and also visited the parish of St. Isidore Rostovsky in Alabel. While visiting parishes, the archpastor performed a prayer service and talked with parishioners. Vladyka Pavel spoke about the significance of the Christian faith in human life, about the structure of the Orthodox community, and spoke about himself and his ministry. Metropolitan of Manila and Hanoi Pavel, who was on a working visit to the island of Mindanao, Republic of the Philippines, met with the mayor of Davao City, Mindanao Island, Ms. Sara Duterte-Carpio.
During the conversation, the parties discussed various issues of cooperation in the development of church life in the parishes of the Philippine-Vietnamese diocese located on the island of Mindanao.
The meeting was also attended by Ambassador Extraordinary and Minister Plenipotentiary of the Russian Federation to the Republic of the Philippines Igor Anatolyevich Hovaev. Also, the Metropolitan of Manila and Hanoi Pavel held a working meeting with the City Consul Pilar Braga.

On the first day of his stay on the island of Mindanao, Metropolitan of Manila and Hanoi Pavel visited the local parishes of the Northern Group.
Metropolitan Pavel visited the parish in Meokan of Saint Martyr Isidore, parish in Little Baguio of St. Helena Equal-to-the-Apostles, parish in Malibatuan of St. Righteous Anna. In each community, the archpastor performed a prayer service, talked with the parishioners, and then gave them memorable gifts – prayer ropes, scarves, icons.
