On Monday of the second week after Easter, Hieromonk Korniliy (Molev), Secretary of the Philippine-Vietnamese Diocese, celebrated the Divine Liturgy at the Church of the Icon of the Mother of God “Quick to Hear” on Panglao Island. He was assisted by Hieromonk Alexei (Lapshin), the parish rector. Following the service, he also performed the first Sacrament of Marriage in this church. We congratulate Elijah (Ilya) and Iya on the beginning of their life together and wish them many years of happiness!

Catechism in Pangasinan

On Friday of Bright Week, the feast of the Icon of the Mother of God “Life-Giving Spring,” Hieromonk John (Gondayao) gave a lecture on Orthodox doctrine and performed the Lesser Blessing of Water at a community in Pangasinan province.
