Orthodox youth camp

An Orthodox youth camp opened in the Philippines on May 25, bringing together participants from across the island of Mindanao.

A parishioner provided a spacious house for the camp in a picturesque location on the island’s shore in Lake Sebu.

For a week, the youth will study Orthodoxy daily, participate in church services, and interact with clergy. They will also enjoy active games, engaging activities, and sports competitions.

Prayers were held before the camp began. Priest Dimitri Cahilig led the service before the trip at the Parish of the Resurrection of Christ in General Santos, and Priest Kirill Beñalon led the service at the camp site in Lake Cebu.

A concert was also held on the opening day of the camp, where the youth showcased their talents. Local residents were also in the audience.
