On July 4, four catechumens received the sacrament of baptism at the Intercession of the Holy Virgin Parish in Ho Chi Minh City, Vietnam.
Joshua, Maxim, Abraham, and Kira became new members of the Church of Christ. The sacrament was performed by Priest Stanislav Rasputin, the parish rector.
The baptism of the newly-enlightened Maxim coincided with his birthday and name day—the feast day of St. Maxim the Greek.
On the third Sunday after Pentecost, Hieromonk Korniliy (Molev), Secretary of the Philippine-Vietnamese Diocese, celebrated Divine Liturgy in Cebu City. Following the service, a pastoral conversation with the parishioners followed.
