On September 26 — the Saturday before the Feast of the Exaltation of the Cross, the Feast of the Consecration of the Church of the Resurrection of Christ in Jerusalem — the Parish of the Resurrection of Christ in General Santos celebrated its patronal feast. Clergy from the deanery, led by the parish rector Priest Roman Buniel, and parishioners took part in the celebrations.
The parish in General Santos is the first missionary center of the Russian Orthodox Church in the Philippines, having been active since 2014.
