Patronal feast is today at the parish in honor of the Intercession of the Most Holy Theotokos in Ho Chi Minh City, Vietnam. The Orthodox community prayed at the Liturgy and partook of the Holy Mysteries of Christ. The liturgy is celebrated here about once a month, so the service itself is a great holiday for the community. At the end, an agape meal was arranged where everyone could chat with Father Eugene and share the latest news.

October 12 – the finding of the relics of St. John of Shanghai. The parish in honor of St. John in the village of Santa Maria on the island of Mindanao celebrated the memory of its heavenly patron at the Divine Liturgy. The service was performed by priests Joachim Gonzales and John Mahinay.

New students from the Philippines arrived in Russia and started studying at Ugra State University.
Alexander and Mark were trained at the missionary center of St. Matrona of Moscow in Davao and were sent to Russia for further study of the Russian language and admission to the theological seminary.

September 27 – The Exaltation of the Holy and Life-Giving Cross of the Lord is a patronal feast at the parish in Siniloan (Laguna). The festive service was conducted by the rector of the parish, Archimandrite Philemon (Castro) and the dean of the Manila district, Hieromonk Alexei (Lapshin). At the end of the Divine Liturgy, the consecration of the Cross on the dome of the Holy Cross Church took place.

On September 17, the 15th Sunday after Pentecost, the secretary of the Philippine-Vietnamese Diocese, Hieromonk Korniliy (Molev), celebrated the Divine Liturgy at the parish in honor of the Iveron Icon of the Mother of God in Manila, in the concelebration of the cleric of the Iveron parish, Priest Agustin Ponferrada. Three Filipino students who were going to Russia to study in theological schools also prayed at the service. Also, two new parishioners have passed the rite of catechism.
