The first meeting of the Synod of the Patriarchal Exarchate of South-East Asia took place in Singapore.

On the feast of the Protection of the Most Holy Theotokos in the church of the Dormition in Singapore, the first meeting of the Synod of the Patriarchal Exarchate of South-East Asia took place.

The Synod was headed by the Patriarchal Exarch of South-East Asia, Metropolitan of Singapore and South-East Asia, Sergiy. He was joined by the Metropolitan of Manila and Hanoi, Pavel and the Archbishop of Korea, Theophan. During the meeting, the archpastors discussed a wide range of issues related to the life and activity of the Patriarchal Exarchate of South-East Asia. The meeting was preceded with Divine liturgy, jointly served by the hierarchs of the Exarchate.
