Every week, volunteers from the diocesan Department of Charity and Social Services organize charity lunches for children from poor families living in the Tagaytay area. The meals include porridge fortified with vitamins and minerals.

Last week, two girls were baptized at the Intercession Parish in Ho Chi Minh City and the Kazan Parish in Vung Tau, Vietnam. The newly baptized children were named Stefania and Marina. The baptisms were performed by Priest Stanislav Rasputin, rector of the parishes.

Construction of the Church of St. Nicholas the Wonderworker continues in the city of Manukan (Zamboanga del Norte province) in the Philippines. The parish rector, Priest Juventinus Bulaqueña, is overseeing the work.
