On May 27, the memory of two St. Isidores is celebrated: St. Isidore of Chios and St. Isidore of Rostov, the fool for Christ. Two parishes on the island of Mindanao celebrated their patronal feast on this day. At the parish in honor of the Martyr Isidore in the village of Meokan (North Cotabato) five priests of the deanery celebrated the Divine Liturgy in the new church, and two priests served at the parish in honor of St. Isidore of Rostov in the village of Alabel (Sarangani).
